My name is Abbey, and there are a lot of unique things about me. First, I'm a right-brained learner. This basically means that I'm blessed with high imagination and cursed with anxiety. Second, I'm a Latter-Day Saint, who is amazed by the goodness of the Lord and all He does for me in my life. Third, I am an unschooler. The biggest lesson I learned from this education is to love learning and to pursue my passions. This blog is a collection of personal musings that will probably fall into one of these catogories. Thanks for visiting!

Internet Series'

The Internet is a little too entertaining...

 Lackadaisy

Whoever thought bootleggers could be so doggone cute and fluffy?  Set in St. Louis, 1927, Lackadaisy follows the exploits of a struggling speakeasy run by a crew of feline mobsters who will do anything to keep their business running.

Content: moderate language, violence and blood, alcohol use.

So You're a Cartoonist

Andy is a traditional cartoonist just trying to make his way in the world, but there are a lot of challenges in the life of a cartoonist, and this funny comic series covers it all!

Content: mild language, homosexuality (the cartoonist draws/makes references to homosexual comic characters).

 Sandra and Woo

It's tough being a teenager, but luckily, Sandra has her faithful friend Woo to help her navigate and survive friendships, school, and crushes.  This lighthearted comic series reminds me of "Calvin and Hobbs" in some ways, but it definitely has its own unique feel.

Content: mild language, mild sexual references.

I'm My Own Mascot

It's not easy coming up with original comic punchlines, but Kevin draws inspiration from the one thing he knows best: himself!  Laugh and cry along with Kevin as he shares the (humorous) woes of being a cartoonist...and a human being.

Content: moderate language, sexual references, disturbing images.

It Sucks to Be Weegie

Poor Luigi, always stuck in his brother's shadow...  Will he ever amount to anything more than Player 2?  Find out in this cute comic series starring Nintendo's misfits like you've never seen them before (by the same cartoonist who brought you I'm My Own Mascot).

Content: moderate language.

Rare Candy Treatment

If you are a fan of Pokemon games, then you will love this comic series!  The witty jokes and blatant mockery of the games' shortcomings makes this comic a riot, and a personal favorite.  :)

E for everyone!

Kids React

This informative and funny series is about exposing a cast of children to viral videos and Internet stars, and seeing how they react to them.  It's a great way to keep up with the sometimes stupid but always interesting trends of the Internet while also enjoying some cute kids and their infinite wisdom.
Content: E for everyone!

This series also includes:
Teens React and Elders React  (which raises the content to mild language and disturbing images)

Stupid Game Show Answers

My favorite part of game shows are the bloopers!  From dumb answers to host screw-ups to technical difficulties, this series captures the most ridiculous and hilarious moments of mistakes on a wide range of game shows.

Content: mild language, sexual references.

Songify This

Become acquainted with viral videos and listen to catchy music at the same time!  This series is about turning everyday people into pop stars.  Tip: watching the original, non-song version of the video makes it even funnier.

Content: moderate language, mild sexual references.

Just for Laughs Gags

If you love pranks, this is the series for you!  Watch and laugh as ordinary people are pranked in a variety of ways.  It could be as simple as toilet paper stuck on the foot, or an alien visitor from outer space.  Either way, it's fun and addicting.

Content: mild sexual references, disturbing images.

America's Funniest Home Videos (via crypticAFV)

I love AFV, and this is the largest collection of clips on the web.  Ranging from the very earliest to the very latest, crypticAFV has all the laughs and pitfalls that you could ever need.

Content: mild language, disturbing images.
